Watercolor, Pen and Ink on Paper

I did this piece for pure fun. I've been having a lot of fun with pen and ink lately - got completely carried away drawing this piece. I just let my mind wander and explore. As this piece started to develop, it started looking more and more like a snowflake to me.

We rarely get snow in Florida and when it does come, it usually melts before it hits the ground. As Christmas is quickly approaching, I'm starting to really get into the spirit. My tree is decorated, decorations are up, and my four year old is obsessed with Santa...which is awesome. Here's a picture of me and my two little men decorating the Christmas tree.
