I had a tough time finding inspiration this week.  I started a couple paintings and just couldn't move forward with them...and then I found this week's Daily Paintworks Challenge.  We were asked to paint a movie star with a limited palette, using only blue and purple.  I couldn't help but paint Marilyn Monroe.  She is my girl crush - I find her incredibly beautiful and sexy.  I LOVED this challenge.  It took me a little longer than I thought to complete this painting but thoroughly enjoyed using a limited palette.
