Living in Florida, we rarely see tulips sprout form the ground in spring. It's just too warm here. We do, however, see them show up in the grocery store right around Easter.
I love tulips, so when I saw a beautiful photo of tulips pop up in my newsfeed on Facebook, it caught my eye. My mom's friend, Barb is a wonderful photographer. She posts photos every day. They are all so beautiful! Needless to say, I was thrilled when she allowed me to paint her photo. It took me weeks of drawing, redrawing, and painting to finally complete, but I'm quite pleased with the result. What do you think?
