The past two years I've had the amazing privilege to attend SXSW in Austin, Texas. I love the city. The creative culture, live music, and city vibe is second to none. I've seen hundreds of bands play from all of the world, met amazing music industry people, and enjoyed awesome food. Austin has quickly become one of my favorite places.

This is the first cityscape I've ever painted. I tried to capture the glow of the city. This is a quick sketch. I did the entire piece in about an hour and 15 minutes. This is painting #18 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.
