Heather Torres Art: Swan Whimsy

When I think of swans, I think of all of the beautiful swans at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. I've spent lots of time with my kids that that beautiful lake feeding the swans. An old childhood friend suggested that I add a swan to my collection of birds. Of course, I had to add some abstract elements to the background. I took a risk with the background on this piece and I'm happy with the way it turned out. From afar, you can see the swan's reflection. I'm pretty happy with the composition on this piece. I'll start working on the last piece of this series tonight! This is Painting #14 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.
